Student Code Of Conduct
Below is our Student Code of Conduct. Please let us know if you have any questions or concerns.
Welcome to our learning community! We're excited to have you on board and are committed to creating a positive and enriching environment for everyone. To ensure a conducive atmosphere for learning and growth, we've outlined some essential points in our Student Code of Conduct.

You agree to follow this code of conduct during your time at Flatpack coders, during classes, live sessions and whilst attending our events, either in person or remotely. We also encourage you tao take these on board outside of Flatpack coders as we believe they are also good rules to live to.

First and foremost, we encourage each student to foster a positive learning mindset. Approach your studies with curiosity, enthusiasm, and a willingness to engage with the material and your peers. Embracing a positive attitude contributes significantly to the overall success of our learning community.

Maintaining professional conduct is paramount. As adult learners, we trust that you understand the importance of professionalism both in and outside of the classroom. This includes respecting your fellow students, instructors, and staff members. Remember, your conduct reflects not only on yourself but on the community as a whole.

In line with legal and ethical standards, you are strictly prohibited from engaging in any illegal activities during courses or at any of our venues. Examples include, but are not limited to, the use or distribution of illegal substances, theft, or any other unlawful behaviour.

Additionally, it is essential to note that students under the influence of drugs or alcohol may be subject to removal from the learning environment. We prioritise the safety and well-being of all students and expect everyone to participate in our courses and events with a clear and focused mindset.

Attendance and punctuality
You agree to attend all sessions as agreed with your instructors or people at flatpack coders and arrive on time as agreed. We try to be flexible, but unfortunately this is not always possible. To reschedule or cancel an agreed lesson or session you need to give a minimum of 24 hours notice.

Conduct during sessions
Boisterous or unruly behaviour will not be tolerated. We believe in creating an environment that is conducive to learning, and disruptive behaviour hinders the progress of everyone in the class. Please ensure that your conduct is considerate of your fellow students' learning experience.
