Go from beginner to coding pro! Our curriculum takes you from the essentials to building and hosting complex web apps.
Front-End & Fundamentals Here you will learn software engineering fundamentals, Languages such as HTML, CSS, and a deep dive into JavaScript. You'll build a front end game demonstrating your logical thinking and programming skill with full tutor support and guidance.
Module 1
Frameworks React.js In this module we will learn all about React.js and create a fully functional SPA using modern techniques. It's also here we will look at APIs and a deeper dive into advanced JavaScript.
Module 2
Full Stack Engineering Now you'll learn all about the backend. You'll learn about Databases and you'll create your own fully functional full stack web application.
Module 3
Python, AI and ML You will create a fully functional public API using Python. We will also take a look at AI fundamentals, and Machine Learning.
Module 4
Engineering for the Cloud Here we will look at what a developer needs to know about cloud engineering. Whilst it's important to know how to write code, knowing how to deploy and leverage cloud technologies will set you apart from the crowd.
Module 5
Career Coaching & Support We start this early on in the course to make sure your projects and portfolios align with your goals, however in unit 5 you'll focus on career readiness. We support you in your career growth from day 1 of you joining, and long after the course has finished. We host mock interviews, CV workshops, github surgeries and more, both as a group and 1 to 1 to make sure you are fully prepared and supported.

I have absolutely no coding experience, can I join? Yes Absolutely! You are exactly who we had in mind when we started Flatpack Coders. The course takes you from the absolute basics of writing your first ever line of code right the way through to advanced programming and software development topics. The course delivers knowledge in bite sized chunks and ensures you fully understand it before moving on.
How much time do I need to dedicate to the course? We recommend a minimum of 6-8 hours per week of study time plus you'll also get up to an hour of 1-to-1 time and group mentoring sessions too. Ultimately though the more time you are able to dedicate to your learning the better. Dont forget to take some time off though.
How does your syllabus compare to other bootcamps? We have developed our curriculum after teaching with some of the worlds largest and most well respected bootcamp providers. What we have done is taken what works best, removed what doesn't and added what employers have told us is missing. As it has been developed in conjunction with employers and students alike we are confident that our curriculum is one of the best in the world.
What does your admissions process look like? Bootcamp providers usually make you jump through lots of hoops before they allow you to pay them for a bootcamp. We are a bit different. If you are confident that you want to get the skills to build software, go ahead and sign up. We support you no matter where you are on your software engineering journey.
